Special K Treats

Special K Treats

Don’t be fooled by the title.  These little babies are anything but Special K diet friendly.

They are Heaven on Earth.

But that is almost a given with how much butter is in this recipe.  Your taste buds can never go wrong with that much butter and sugar…right!?

Special K Treats 2

I love these Special K Treats a lot.  To me, they’re kind of like a combination; the best of both worlds between popcorn balls and rice krispies treats.  But even better.  They’re just so yummy and gooey!

Special K Treats 3

Special K Treats
Ingredients:
2 cups butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
52 large marshmallows
13 oz. box (12-13 cups) Special K Cereal

Directions:
1. In a large pot over medium heat, stir the butter, sugar, and brown sugar just until it boils.
2. Stir in the marshmallows until they are melted.
3. Remove from heat and stir in the cereal.
4. Let cool for about 10 minutes, or until cool enough to touch.
5. Form into balls (keep your hands well greased!) and allow to finish cooling.  Enjoy!
