I was a bit skeptical the first time I made this recipe. I thought the ingredients were so weird! But, it turned out SO. dang. good! (*Confession ahead*) My husband and I ate the whole pan in less than a day. Then, I decided they were so good that I just had to take them to my work potluck. They were a success there as well! Everyone loved them.
They’re really rich, so I would recommend cutting them in small pieces and eating them slowly…if you can Also, they are really good without the chocolate on top, too! So if chocolate isn’t really your favorite, try them plain. They’re equally great both ways in my opinion.
SKOR SQUARES
Ingredients:
1 box Ritz Crackers
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 bag Skor Toffee bits
1 bag milk chocolate chips
Directions:
-Crush the crackers into fine crumbs (optional: use a food processor) and place into a large bowl.
-Add the can of milk and approx. 3/4 of the toffee bits
-Stir until mixed well and press into the bottom of an 8×8 pan
-Sprinkle on the remaining toffee bits and press them down slightly so they stick
-Bake at 350 for 8 minutes (no longer)
-Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave (use 50% power and stir every 30 seconds until melted)
-Spread the melted chocolate on top of the toffee squares
-Let the bars cool before cutting, or they will crumble. Enjoy!
Wow, those sound delish!!! I may need to try this recipe out

I came over from Miz Helen’s to spread some cookie bar love. I made some this week and every time I see that someone made something similar I try to visit their site and spread the love.
Thanks for visiting! I hope you like what I made and that you’ll come back often
I’ll definitely be headed over to your site and check out your cookie bars!
These bars sound so good! erines
Thank you so much! I hope you get the chance to try them out
Yum…and interesting with cracker crumbs instead of cookie crumbs. I’m pinning this now! I found you on the 36th Avenue link party.
Thank you so much! I’ve never actually seen it done with cookie crumbs. Maybe I’ll have to give it a shot sometime, but I would definitely add salt since the Ritz crackers add quite a bit a salt to these bars (which give it the signature sweet/salty taste). Thanks for visiting!
I would have to agree the ingredients are a bit odd but I can see how they would work. Thanks for joining us on foodie friday. Hope to see you next week.
Thanks for hosting the great party! The ingredients DO seem odd, huh!? That’s what makes this recipe so unique, and that’s why I love it. But when you eat it, you’d never know it. You’ll just have to try it and see
Thank you so much for sharing your great recipe with Full Plate Thursday and have a wonderful week.
